Peer Smed Sterling Silver “Jack-in-the-Pulpit" Teaspoons Set of Four
Hand Wrought Sterling Silver by renowned silversmith Peer Smed and daughter Lona Schaeffer. Lona was a silversmith apprentice to her father and executed many of his designs. In later years after creating many works her father allowed her to sign her own hallmark. Lona's pieces are quite rare. After Lona married, she stopped making silver.
Very heavy, hand hammered. Each piece is terminated with a 3 dimensional lily on the handle. Very rare. Multiple sets of four available.
All made in the 1930's in Brooklyn NY at Peer Smed studio on Johnson street.
