Estate Buccellati 800 Silver Coffee & Tea Service With Tray by Mario Buccellati
The set was acquired from a single owner who bought it from the Buccellati store in the 1970’s.
The surface of the silver has a special technique that only Buccellati mastered. It is called “SEGRINATO” where by the artisan uses an etching tool to create a textured surface which contrasts against the shiny polished surfaces. This is a very labor intensive process. The technique creates a stunning effect. It also has a side benefit in that it does not show fingerprints and requires very little maintenance.
The set is comprised of the following:

(1) Tea Pot 8.5” H
(1) Creamer 6.5” H
(1) Sugar 5.75" H
(1) Tray 21” L x 16” W
The service is in excellent condition and is VERY HEAVY.
