Estate Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Flatware in the "Blossom" Pattern No. 84 Service of 12 (108 Pieces)

Rarest of all Georg Jensen patterns, entirely handwrought "Blossom" flatware made of sterling silver.

Very Good condition, with earlier marks.

Sheffield blades on the knives.

The iconic “Blossom” pattern was designed by Georg Jensen himself in 1905, originally for his famed teapot.

Deeply inspired by nature, Georg Jensen created the “Blossom” pattern of cutlery in 1919 to unify his skills as a silversmith with his talent as an artist by creating a magnificent pattern inspired by the natural world in the Art Nouveau style.
