These were made over a 30 year period and in limited production.
Silver mounting by Anton Michelsen especially for the design.
This is an outstanding example of this technique due to of the elaborate chasing in the silver mounting which extends around a large part of the vase.
In this example the flowers and the silver mount complement and intermingle with each other beautifully.
Anton Michelsen did these silver mounts for Royal Copenhagen approximately 30 years and this example was from the early period.
