Arno Malinowski was a versatile designer who designed for Georg Jensen starting in 1936 until 1965. His designs are very distinctive and typically stylized animals. Most famous being the kneeling deer and the iron and silver designs created during the war years when silver was scarce. He also was the designer of the "KING SYMBOL" in 1940. This pin commemorated the 70th birthday of the Danish King and worn by the Danes as a symbol of loyalty to their country during the German occupation.
