Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Pair of Candelabra, No. 244
Often referred to as the "Pine Cone" candelabra, this design was first introduced in 1918.
The candelabra are hand hammered, raised on a pod form support, on a stepped spreading pedestal base, the two arms each of a reeded leaf capped twisted style. The pair of two arm candelabra are very heavy and weigh in at just under 100 troy ounces.
An example, one of the pair, can be found on page 114 of "Georg Jensen Holloware, The Silver Fund Collection" by Taylor and Laskey.
