Anette Kræn (1945 - ) is a Danish Goldsmith. She studied in Germany and Switzerland from 1969-1974 and then opened her workshop in Denmark. In 1978, she began designing for Georg Jensen as one of his new and bold designers.
Anette Kræn is known for designing sculptural jewelry. She especially enjoys creating bracelets and brooches with raw surfaces. Many of her pieces are layers of materials, which makes the pieces surprisingly textural. Her inspirations are Nordic nature and also the East, evident in her jewelry where she combines gold and silver with unusual materials such as horsehair, ceramics, silk, leather, paper, and sea glass.
She has been represented at numerous international exhibitions on design, including shows in Stockholm, Paris, Edinburgh, and Tokyo, and has also won awards at competitions held by the Association of Danish Goldsmiths.
