Georg Jensen Hallmark 1915-1919

item_527_375.jpg

With the fortunate success brought on by the 1915 San Francisco World Exhibition and a growing US market, the Georg Jensen Silversmithy moved main production to a freestanding workshop at No. 118 Haraldsgade in Copenhagen, with several other shops in major cities in Europe and America.

This period of hallmarks features ovals of raised dots with 'GEORG JENSEN' inside as well as 'COPENHAGEN'. The silver-content is reflected with an additional raised-dot oval with 'G.i.' inscribed above '830' 'S'.
